How QuietFrame handles your photo
Our photo tool reads and processes the JPEG or HEIC you select inside your browser tab. The tool does not upload that file to our server.
Photo files
When you choose a file, browser code reads it locally, shows a preview, checks supported metadata, and creates a new JPEG if you request cleaning. The selected file and cleaned copy remain in the tab until you close it or choose another file. We do not keep a server-side copy of either image.
Website visits
Like other websites, this site is served through a hosting provider. The provider may receive your IP address, browser details, and request times when you load pages, and may use cookies or similar data for site access. Those connection details are separate from photo EXIF data.
Analytics and advertising
This version does not include third-party analytics or advertising scripts. If advertising is added later, this notice will be updated to explain the additional data flows before those scripts are enabled.
Limits
The tool supports JPEG and HEIC input and reads selected standard metadata fields. HEIC inspection focuses on supported EXIF tags; it does not enumerate every proprietary or XMP field. The output check looks for common JPEG metadata segments. We do not promise to detect every proprietary field, and pixel content can itself contain private information.
